LA CASCADA is the result of a collaboration between uncle and nephew Nahun and Eduin Velasquez, two farmers who both have deep family roots in coffee cultivation, having grown up on coffee farms. The processing of this coffee was done by Eduin's brother Fernando, whose experimental approaches to fermentation have yielded great results.
La Cascada is a super special offering, even aside from being a family operation. This coffee was fermented in sealed anaerobic tanks, giving the roasted coffee an extra touch of subtle fruitiness, while maintaining the smooth, easy-drinking qualities of a traditional fully washed coffee.
