FINCA HUMANA is a Certified Fair Trade, Organic coffee produced by the APROCOMSA cooperative in Marcala. APROCOMSA use the phrase "Finca Humana" to describe the group's core operating principle- that human wellbeing should be the main objective of any enterprise. This focus on the human element has led to all kinds of great results. Regular seminars about new developments in organic farming practices are made available to member farmers, and proceeds from the sale of coffees are used to fund a cutting edge international school, dedicated to educating future leaders of the community.

This is our first time featuring a coffee from the APROCOMSA cooperative, but we knew we had to feature this coffee as soon as we tasted it. This coffee is exceptionally balanced and sweet, with hints of roasted almond, and a silky caramel finish.
