WAHUNDURA is the name of one of four washing stations owned and operated by the Kamacharia Farmers Cooperative Society. The station processes coffees produced by dozens of smallholder farmers in and around the town of Kiiraini, in the Murang'a region of Central Kenya. Each farm averages between 200 and 300 hundred trees, and all of the cherry is harvested by hand, graded for ripeness and size, and dried on raised beds for 18 to 24 days.
WAHUNDURA AA has been one of our go-to Kenyan offerings for several years now, and it only seems to improve with each harvest season. Super sweet notes of pineapple and vanilla, with an herbaceous, complex aroma and mild, sparkling acidity- this coffee is sure to hit the spot for anyone who is a fan of East African flavor profiles.
