NDUMBERI is produced by smallholder farmers in Kiambu County, which is a lush mountainous region that sits adjacent to the capital city of Nairobi. The farmers here work according to a cooperative system of production, in which members vote on representation, marketing and milling contracts, as well as profit allocation. 

This coffee is a real knock-your-socks-off type of offering. It is bursting with tropical fruit flavors and hibiscus florals, with just the kind of herbaceous foundation that we look for in washed East African coffees.
