Butu Galcha was born and raised in Idedo, Yirgacheffe, and for most of her life she has been dedicated to the craft of coffee farming. She began working alongside her father on his coffee farm early on, learning the intricacies of the trade. Over time, she inherited a small plot of land that she continues to cultivate to this day.

In 2022, her dedication and expertise were recognized when she placed 16^th in the Ethiopian Cup of Excellence competition.

BUTU GALCHA is a limited offering, and definitely not one to miss out on. Delicate, tea-like body, bold notes of fruit, and a delightful floral aroma. This coffee is obviously the result of a passion project.
