This new offering from the Bugisu region of Eastern Uganda hits all of our favorite spots on the flavor wheel. It is subtle, yet well-structured; chocolaty and rich, while still delicate and fruity. The Sipi Falls Coffee Project, named after a trio of majestic waterfalls that have come to define the region, was established in 1999 to assist in improving quality standards and yield in the area, as well as the livelihoods of the hundreds of small scale producers whose work produced this amazing coffee.
Who should drink this: This is a rare coffee that is perfect for both the casual drinker and the connoisseur. Trust me, you'll be into it.
