This coffee is sourced from various smallholder farmers all within the town of Caramata. The farms and producers are carefully selected based on meeting metrics of quality and consistency. During the dry milling process, the producers run an experimental production batch to separate out just the peaberries. Peaberries are the result of a natural genetic mutation that produces one larger, round coffee bean within the cherry instead of two semi-circular “twin” beans. These coffees are prized due to the extensive additional selection process required to yield only peaberries.

Carmata Peaberry is great for daily drinking, but there are also a wealth of subtleties to be captured with a dialed-in brewing technique.
